Local Link

Many of our Local Link vehicles are used to collect and transport young people to sports events, youth clubs and recreation schemes.  Many young mum’s are also using Local Link for school runs and trips to local health centres, dentists and parks and play areas.  With friendly drivers and easy pushchair access, parents are finding MCT’s Local Link a cleaner, safer and stress-free alternative to getting out and about in their community.

Local Link works by providing buses for passengers who can “share the ride".
Like a number of ‘Car-Share’ schemes, this service gives passengers travelling a regular route the opportunity to link-up with other passengers heading in the same direction.  As well as being a more environmentally-friendly method of travel, Local Link carries the added bonus of saving you money too!   Your can download our current timetable for Local Link by clicking here
